“Everyone is different. That’s the beauty of people.”
— Aaron Wolf, Founder of I Am Able Foundation
Together we can make a difference.
The I Am Able Foundation is building a community — and a movement — that brings invisible differences out of the shadows and into the light. Where stigma is replaced with understanding, and the lonely chair in the hallway becomes a seat at the table.
At a time when support systems for neurodiverse learners are being reduced and stigma is resurfacing in new ways, our mission has never been more urgent. We’re creating spaces where neurodivergent people can find connection, support, and belonging, and where those without invisible differences can learn to become stronger allies, classmates, friends, colleagues, and leaders.
This is a national community, built in partnership with organizations that share our belief that inclusion cannot wait. Together, we’re creating an active, engaged network of resources and relationships for the neurodiverse community — a movement grounded in empathy, visibility, and shared action.
Through storytelling, outreach, and empowerment groups, the I Am Able Foundation is squashing the stigmas and fighting against the idea that there is a one-size-fits-all approach to how people can or should think, process, and prioritize. Sharing stories across numerous media channels – including social media posts, videos, and film – we are creating a community that advocates for change, that stands up for and with people that have been taught to feel shame or fear about their invisible differences.
The I Am Able Foundation imagines a world where …
Our invisible differences no longer define or limit our ability to find happiness and success at work and in life.
People with invisible differences can connect and engage with one another for support and encouragement– sharing their struggles, their successes, and their stories with one another.
Everyone can develop the skills and competencies needed to better lead, support, and collaborate with employees and community members with invisible differences.
Education about neurodiversity begins at the elementary school level and moves on through college and into the workplace as adults.
Stigmas are squashed – and judgment about neurodiversity is replaced by knowledge and acceptance.

Roadmap
-
This is a pivotal moment.
Across the country, programs that once protected neurodiverse students and families are being dismantled. Stigma is spreading faster than understanding. Misinformation is shaping how millions of minds are seen — and how they see themselves.
We refuse to stay silent.
The I Am Able Foundation is standing up for every learner and thinker whose voice has been overlooked or erased. Our roadmap turns awareness into action bringing storytelling, education, and advocacy together to protect the future of neurodiversity.
-
Launched in partnership with the Educating All Learners Alliance and InnovateEDU, this campaign helps middle schools foster inclusion through storytelling and empathy. In a time when special education funding and awareness are under pressure, We All Learn Differently equips educators and students to see learning differences as strengths — not challenges to overcome, but perspectives to celebrate.
-
Supported by the Clint Eastwood Charitable Fund, this short-film series highlights extraordinary neurodiverse thinkers — Disney Imagineer Tony Baxter, astrophysicist Sara Seager, and storyteller Wes Woodson — whose unique minds are changing their fields.
-
Our newest initiative, With Us, is a nationwide multimedia movement reframing how we talk about neurodiversity — not as something to fix, but as something we all share a stake in protecting. Through bold storytelling, public campaigns, and advocacy tools at the core website, With Us challenges stigma and misinformation with truth, empathy, and hope.
With matching support from the Clint Eastwood Charitable Fund, the campaign will reach millions across the country with one clear message: Stand With Us. Not Without Us.
-
In cities like Austin, Detroit, and Seattle, our Empowerment Groups offer neurodiverse adults a place to connect, share stories, and build confidence. Each gathering is a reminder that inclusion doesn’t happen from the top down, it grows from connection, understanding, and the courage to be seen.

As education systems and funding landscapes shift, our commitment deepens. The I Am Able Foundation is building a movement that protects and uplifts every mind — through story, visibility, and shared action. Together, we can ensure that this moment of uncertainty becomes a turning point toward empathy, equity, and belonging.
