IAAF Founder Aaron Wolf Participates in the Dear Dyslexia Postcard Project

Dyslexia, a learning disorder that affects one's ability to read, write, and spell, can be a significant challenge in a person's life. However, individuals like Aaron Wolf have taken it upon themselves to not only overcome the obstacles posed by dyslexia but also empower and inspire others facing similar challenges.

Aaron Wolf, a dyslexic individual himself, has a remarkable story of resilience and determination. Instead of letting dyslexia define his limitations, he has chosen to use it as a source of strength and inspiration. Through his journey, he discovered that creative expression was a powerful way to adapt to living with dyslexia and help others do the same.

Aaron is a participating ambassador to the Dear Dyslexia Postcard Project along with the I Am Able Foundation as being a supporter. This is the second time that Aaron and Gil Gershoni from Gershoni Creative have partnered to spread awareness for the dyslexia community. Dear Dyslexia: The Postcard Project is an opportunity to showcase the diversity of the dyslexic experience. The project invites dyslexics of all ages — from students to professionals — to depict their relationship with dyslexia on postcards using words and images. The goal is to activate a global community around the unique strengths and perspectives that dyslexia offers.

Aaron’s own postcard, with simple yet profound statement “To me, dyslexia is creativity,” encapsulated his belief that dyslexia in not a hindrance but rather a source of innovation and personal expression. He believes that being different is what makes whom he is and gives him his strengths.  Aaron’s personal experiences with learning differences inspired him to establish the I Am Able Foundation a platform that champions neurodiversity and empowers individuals with learning differences to embrace their unique strengths. Through the foundation's impactful storytelling initiatives, Aaron has created a safe space for individuals to share their stories, fostering a sense of community and understanding. His ability to connect with others and create a supportive environment has enabled countless individuals with learning differences to express themselves openly and authentically.

Through initiatives like the Dear Dyslexia Postcard Project and the I Am Able Foundation, Aaron is fostering a more inclusive and understanding world, empowering individuals with learning differences to embrace their strengths and contribute their unique voices to society.
